Right after the announcement of the Accenture and ServiceNow partnership, now Microsoft Azure and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have announced a partnership. The consulting giant has joined hands with the Redmond-based cloud provider to launch its Catalyst cloud data platform. BCG stated that the Catalyst cloud data platform is a SaaS offering that pairs BCG’s digital IP, and business process expertise, and best practices with Microsoft’s cloud computing prowess.
BCG is one of the oldest names in management consultation and is considered to be the pioneer of business strategy. Given the general shift of enterprises to digital mediums all around the world, it is only natural that BCG focuses on delivering their expertise around the world by leveraging the cloud. The launch of Catalyst cloud data platform is a step in the same direction.
The newly launched SaaS platform by the consulting giant aims to deliver AI and advanced data analytics capabilities to its customers for enhanced management of data, strategy, and business processes. Today’s tech-savvy world has come to realize the importance of data for the growth of their businesses. BCG aims to help enterprises tide over the lack of tools needed to properly utilize data and AI for business growth.
Via the Catalyst cloud data platform, BCG promises to deliver “a single, unique, and unified platform that enables business decision-makers to manage, model, analyze, and visualize data.” As per the consulting firm, this will help enterprises with outcome prediction, accelerated decision-making, reduced risks, and improved operational efficiency.
Tom Reichert, the Global Leader at DigitalBCG, spoke about the offering, and stated, “successful companies of the future will be bionic. They will blend human and technological capabilities to achieve operational resilience and sustained advantage. With Catalyst Cloud on Azure, BCG and Microsoft continue a legacy of collaboration to accelerate our pace of innovation in service to our clients.”
Not just the cloud platform, but Microsoft Azure is also helping BCG launch an app store for its Analytical Tools. “Building Catalyst Cloud on Microsoft Azure will enhance the ability of BCG’s world-renowned data scientists and consultants to help customers across industries and geographies make smarter data-driven decisions, and so realize greater insights and value from their cloud strategy,” said Jean-Philippe Courtois, Executive Vice President and President, Microsoft Global Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
